I read the news stories in the papers and on the internet, and they all tell how the different "terrorists" organizations hate the US (or at least a lot of them). Primarily though I am refering to Al Qaida.

The most mentioned reason seems to be Israel, but I do not believe if we abandoned Israel that anything would change. They would still want to attack the US and its people on a small scale and a large if they had the means. Are these people just filled with hate or do they just have a twisted sense of beliefs that they need to destroy those that are different. With America being the most obvious first target.

Al Qaida has claimed their goals are to destroy the US in holy war. They use terrorist tactics against US interests and have no basic goal to achieve other than to hurt Americans. This is basic evil. If they have goals or purposes other than just to destroy they need to be clearly stated. I think they are simply jealous. They want what we have, but since they can't have it they don't want us to either. Grow up!

I would love to hear someone try to justify the actions of the terrorist organizations actions against the US.

Unfortunately, I can understand the suicide bombers used in Israel. They have no other methods to fight back against the Israelis. They have not the strength to go against the military, so they hit the only targets they can. This is carrying over to attacks against the US as well, but it is not for independance.

I can only imagine how this will affact the world in the next 10 - 20 years and hope our world leaders have the strength to do what must be done. This hate, if there is no other reason for it, is only growing. To fight it with any chance of winning will involve hard decisions. If it comes to force, we will have to play by their rules - anyone is fair game. They only have an advantage because they can kill children and women and we don't target them. They then hide behind their own women and children and laugh or cry foul when they get killed in the cross fire. We need to be prepared to hit back hard. What happens when that first nuclear device goes off and kills a couple million innocent civilians. (Apparently, Al Qaida believes there are no innocent civilians since they support the president, what about the people who hide Al Qaida fighters - same thing) If we do not return in kind, they will feel safe at home thus will continue to attack thusly. If we show before that first device goes off, they will know that they will be subject to retribution in kind and the deterence effect of the cold war will apply here as well.

If no one in the major countries of the world will support that kind of action, we will suffer much more in the future. Unless someone can provide some reasons for what these terrorists want - if there is one other than evil.
